Hello Bethany, we made it safe and sound and had a little trouble getting settled into our housing but after some prayer and a connection with Chad Carlson (Missionary in NOLA) we are settled in our housing.

Monday - Greetings Bethany
Monday we had a prayer tour of the greater New Orleans area with an exercise to map out different areas for prayer and connection. It was a powerful time and something we are excited to bring home.

Wednesday - We have been working in St. Bernard Parish doing Mold re-mediation, (removing mold from the structure of the house. it is hot work and difficult but the team is happy to be serving a family who will hopefully be back in their home sometime later this year. If all goes well we will finish this project Thursday by noon and begin demolition of another project they are working on. The team is in good spirits and missionaries from Vieux Carre Baptist Church cooked us tacos last night as a way to bless our team.
