Trip is going great. Ellie just shared her testimony and I gave a message at the barrio church and a bunch of kids accepted Christ, it was super cool.  The elevation is making some of us sick but other than that God is good....

Hola todos,

Things have been great here, hope that all is well with you. On Sunday, we went to Sunday School for young people (18yrs-35yrs) and went to 2 church services. Patrick shared with the Sunday school from James 5:13-20 about prayer (and he did it in Spanish). Ellie shared her testimony with the group as well. Scott preached the first church service about spiritual gifts on helping people understand and utilize their spiritual gift. The second service Scott preached, and focused on living the life like Jesus did. Sunday went really well, many people needed prayer and as a team we were able to pray and come alongside and encourage people (and we received encouragement as well).

Today (Monday) we painted Harmony's room and bathroom (sanded, spackled, prep and painted). Harmony's apartment is on the second floor where the main offices are for the World Venture team. We will need to follow up with the "finishing touches" later this week. Tonight we are going to BLESS volleyball, which is a sports ministry. We will be playing, encouraging and building relationships with young Bolivians from neighboring churches.

Tomorrow (Tuesday), we will be going to an orphanage and have time for VBS (puppet shows, crafts, bible story sharing, playing with kids...) At night tomorrow, we will be playing BLESS futsol (indoor soccer with smaller ball) and will have time to interact with more young Bolivians.

Thanks again for lifting us up in prayer... we can feel it and need it.
