As followers of Jesus we are called to be good managers of the resources
God has blessed us with. Giving is to be an important part of the exercise
of our faith. The Apostle Paul put it this way: "just as you excel
in everything—in faith, in speech, in knowledge, in complete earnestness
and in your love for us-see that you also excel in this grace
of giving...." — 2 Corinthians 8:7. Our faithfulness
in this area is the way in which God provides for His work here at Bethany
and provides support for many missionaries and organizations worldwide
that have the same focus as we the church.
In addition to giving offerings at church during our worship gatherings
and via monthly envelopes that can be mailed to your home, we now offer
online giving. Recognizing how we handle our money has changed in the
last decade, with some people never having used a check - we felt
it was important to provide you with the opportunity to financially support
God's movement at Bethany Church online. You can give to
both the ongoing ministry expenses or to retire the debt on the Foxhoven
building. It is a simple, easy, and secure process using an organization
that specializes in online giving. You can chose the amount, frequency (one time or repeating), and date of your donations.
We offer online giving through debit card processing and electronic
check, but do not encourage the use of credit cards to make financial
offerings. We do not want anyone to incur debt through giving. Also note
that giving through electronic check is the most cost effective
method for the church.
